Cereal-ously… Let’s Help!
The Intermediate School is proud to support the New Albany Food Pantry with our annual Cereal Drive, running January 21–February 24. Last year, our school donated over 1,000 boxes of cereal, and this year our goal is 2,000 boxes! Students can bring unopened boxes of cereal to their classroom, with collections taking place in each wing. Every box helps—thank you for supporting our neighbors in need!

There’s a new four-legged presence bringing smiles, calm, and connection to New Albany-Plain Local Schools—and her name is Gemma. (Her full name is Gemini but her shortened name is Gemma.)
The Board of Education held their Organizational & Regular Meeting on Jan. 5, 2026 in the NAPLS Annex. Board members Coleen Barber, John McClelland and Mark Wilson were sworn in for their board terms and in officer elections, John McClelland was elected President and Jenn Fuller was elected Vice-President.
