Welcome to New Albany Intermediate School!

Serving 1,150 students across grades 4, 5, and 6, the Intermediate School is a place where our Eagles RISE—demonstrating Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Empathy in everything they do.

We achieve the best academic outcomes for our students through the dedication and expertise of an amazing teaching staff. By utilizing a high-quality, district-aligned curriculum across every department, we ensure that every student receives an equitable, rigorous experience that allows them to reach their highest potential. Beyond core subjects, we enrich our students' days with specialized courses in art, wellness, music, and technology. We are also proud to offer elective opportunities in orchestra, choir, and band for our fifth and sixth graders.

To support our students' developmental outcomes, we consistently reinforce our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework, Eagles RISE, which grounds our students in clear behavioral expectations. Additionally, our vibrant House System fosters mentorship, school spirit, and a deep sense of belonging for every child.
