Welcome to the Intermediate School

Welcome to New Albany Intermediate School! We take pride in our diversity, our accomplishments, and our commitment to excellence in all that we do. We are committed to creating a school where there is a sense of belonging, a desire for community and a collaborative spirit. 

We have four wings in the building, with approximately 1170 students. The four wings help students feel a smaller sense of community. In each of the wings, we have we have wing rallies. Once every six to eight weeks where the wings come together out in this common space and we have a school-wide assembly to talk about Eagles Rise, our PBIS system which just means behavioral expectations for our students. Respect, Integrity, Safety and Empathy. We talk about all of those elements and then we have a fun assembly where we play games and compete against the other wings.

In addition to our daily curriculum, we offer specials for our students; art, wellness, music and technology. We also offer for sixth and fifth grade opportunities in orchestra, choir and band.
